Early Intervention Services Program

This Program is based out of the Regional Medical Center at Lubec/HealthWays and covers 5 Northern Counties of Maine: Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis & Washington.

Primary Care:

  • Adherence Counseling & Harm Reduction
  • Counseling, Testing & Referral for People at High Risk for HIV Infection
  • Facilitated Referrals for People Living with HIV
  • Medical Care
  • Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Counseling
  • Nutritional Services
  • Oral Health Care

Support Services:

  • Complementary Services- non- reimbursable primary care service support, such as acupuncture & massage therapy
  • Retreats for People Living with HIV - sometimes these may include their partners or other support persons
  • Transportation

Training:

  • Ongoing in state & out of state educational components
