Full Time Certified Medical Assistant

Certified Medical Assistant needed to assist medical providers in our Lubec clinic.  CMA or practice-trained Medical Assistant with good communication skills; phlebotomy and/or injection experience a plus. Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assisting program, Associate Degree or higher and Medical Assistant certification required or willingness to obtain.

BILLING SPECIALIST is responsible for reviewing and submitting insurance claims and processing remittances.  The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and billing software.  In addition to public relations, organizational and strong communication skills are essential.  An educational background and/or work experience in business, accounting and/or billing is preferred.

Director of Behavioral Health and Counselor Positions

The Regional Medical Center at Lubec seeks a full time Director of Behavioral Health in our Lubec Clinic and Behavioral Health Counselors in our East Machias or Lubec Clinics.  Each position requires a willingness and interest in learning to adopt innovative ways integrating behavioral health services with primary care.  Experience or background in areas such as pain management, stress management, and health behavior change through Motivational Interviewing and other brief interventions are desirable. Graduate from an accredited school of social work, MSW or LCSW required.

In addition to the above requirements, the Director position is responsible for grant and contract management, department planning and daily operations of the Behavioral Health Counseling and Substance Use Disorder Department, along with maintaining a client base.

Physician

Regional Medical Center at Lubec seeks a physician to join a rural clinic practice in beautiful coastal DownEast Maine.   Current unencumbered license to practice medicine in Maine; family practice with experience in treating acute and chronic illnesses for patients of all ages. Salary negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Sunrise County HomeCare Services, a division of Regional Medical Center at Lubec, is seeking to fill the following per diem positions:

Community Health Nurse needed in the Machias /Calais areas. Responsible for client admissions and home care visits. Must have one year med/surg experience.

Physical Therapist needed in the Machias area to provide inhome services to clients.

Home Health Aides needed in Lubec, Pembroke, Dennysville, Calais and Eastport areas to provide long term care for clients in their homes.  C.N.A and reliable transportation.
