Certified Medical Assistant needed to assist medical providers in our Lubec clinic.  CMA or practice-trained Medical Assistant with good communication skills; phlebotomy and/or injection experience a plus. Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assisting program, Associate Degree or higher and Medical Assistant certification required or willingness to obtain.

DENTIST WANTED to join rural health clinic located in beautiful coastal DownEast Maine.  Provides direct patient care including diagnostic, preventive and restorative services for all patients within service area.  Currently licensed DMD/DDS in good standing.  Will work with eligible candidate to secure participation in Loan Repayment programs. 

RN Care Manager

Full time RN Care Manager needed to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home Care Team.  Primary duties include assessing patients to identify fragmentation, duplication and gaps in their treatment plans; identify opportunities for health promotion and illness prevention; provide patient education and coordination of community resources; and facilitate smooth transitions of care. Minimum qualifications include: graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current Maine RN licensure, experience working with chronically-ill patients and proficient computer skills.

Behavioral Health Counselor

The Regional Medical Center at Lubec seeks a part time Behavioral Health Counselor who is willing and interested in learning to adopt innovative ways integrating behavioral health services with primary care at our Lubec clinic.  Graduate from an accredited school of social work, MSW or LCSW required.  Experience or background in areas such as pain management, stress management, and health behavior change through Motivational Interviewing and other brief interventions are desirable.

Sunrise County HomeCare Services, a division of Regional Medical Center at Lubec, is seeking Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team to do home visits and new admissions.  Our per diem reimbursement rate is competitive.  Qualified RNs should have good organizational skills, home care experience preferred, not required.  One year Med/Surg experience required.


Regional Medical Center at Lubec seeks a physician willing to lead and expand our Medication Assisted Treatment services program.  As a key member of the team including medical assistants and onsite substance abuse and behavioral health counselors, the physician will provide evaluation and medical management of patients struggling with opiate addiction.  Current unencumbered license to practice medicine in Maine and Suboxone Certification (or willingness to take the certification program) required.  Familiarity with evidenced-based chemical dependency care and risk management strategies a plus.  Position is part time but can be combined with family practice to be a full time position. Salary negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Sunrise County HomeCare Services, a division of Regional Medical Center at Lubec, is seeking to fill the following per diem positions:

Community Health Nurse needed in the Machias /Calais areas. Responsible for client admissions and home care visits. Must have one year med/surg experience.

Physical Therapist needed in the Machias area to provide inhome services to clients.

Home Health Aides needed in Lubec, Pembroke, Dennysville, Calais and Eastport areas to provide long term care for clients in their homes.  C.N.A and reliable transportation.
