Mental Health & Substance Use Disorder Counseling

Counseling session with therapist and young client

Our mental health counselor, Deborah Day, LCSW, offers a range of services including individual and family counseling for anxiety disorders including PTSD, mood disorders, stress reduction, and more.

Our substance use disorder counselors offer a range of services including individual and group counseling.

These services are provided in our Lubec and East Machias offices. Visits are offered in-person, by tele-video or by phone.

DEEP Program

We offer Driver Education and Evaluation Program (DEEP) for Operating Under the Influence (OUI) offenders in our Lubec office.

Opioid Use Disorder Program

Our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program (Suboxone) is available for those struggling with opioid addiction.  In Lubec, you will meet with a Substance Use Disorder Counselor and a medical provider, usually on the same day.

To enroll in the MAT program, simply contact us for help at the number below, and we will get you in to see a counselor and provider as soon as possible to start you on the road to recovery.  Generally, you will be asked to come in weekly for a period of time, and as you progress in your recovery, the appointments will be less frequent.  We are sensitive to the difficulties of transportation and arranging time away from work, so we make every effort to schedule your counseling and provider appointments back-to-back.   We will work with you to provide as many layers of support as you need.  If you aren’t insured, our Outreach & Enrollment counselor will guide you through obtaining coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or MaineCare, and can provide information and assistance with our generous Sliding Fee Discount program.

Office hours for all services are Monday through Friday, 8 am until 5 pm.
