Billing and Sliding Fees

We accept cash, check, or credit card payments.  MaineCare, Medicare, Anthem, Aetna, and most other insurances are accepted.  If you have questions regarding your bill, need to set up a payment plan, apply for sliding/reduced fees, or any other billing information, please contact the Billing Department.

Sliding Fee Program

To provide accessible and affordable health care, HealthWays/Regional Medical Center at Lubec offers reduced fees through the Sliding Fee Discount Program.  The intent is to maximize community access while complying with federal regulations governing the provision of reduced fee care.  The Sliding Fee Discount Program is managed by the Billing Department and is updated yearly to reflect the annual Federal Poverty Guidelines, after Board approval.
